12th June 2007 - Implementation of Decent Homes Project
Out4orce release the 'Advance' software solution built upon the Out4orce Task Management Engine (TME 2007). The solution, created for one of the partners of the government backed Decent Homes scheme currently being implemented by Birmingham City Council, leverages the power of TME 2007 to model the Decent Homes business process. Advance encapsulates all work flows, documentation and procedures to ensure that actions that are important today are the first on the agenda and to ensure that relevant personnel are tasked with the correct jobs at the correct priority level. All information regarding a particular property including, surveys, certificates, call logs and complaints are held within Advance in an electronic searchable information store backed by the power of MS SQL Server 2005.
Mark Robinson, project manager of the Advance System says he is thrilled with the resulting application - "The real beauty of the system is that it takes care of the management of the process to a certain extent, right from initial contact with a tenant through to handing over the project to Birmingham City Council on completion. Advance ensures that tasks are completed in a timely fashion and if they are not there is clear evidence of exactly where the problem lies and what is required to bring the project back on track. The bottom line is that most of us work much better when we have a clear understanding of what is required, the new Advance system delivers this process management and then some."
